An Elliot Lake resident is being accused of making threatening comments.

Ontario Provincial Police were called to a Mississauga Avenue apartment on April 27 after someone reported being threatened by someone they knew.

The suspect had left before officers arrived.

On Friday, May 2, police made an arrest on Tokyo Crescent.

William Vintinner, 34, from Elliot Lake was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
