East Algoma OPP Complete Investigation & Lay Charges

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) The East Algoma OPP has charged a local man after completing their investigation.

The investigation began back on January 18th, 2006 when a call was received from a local health facility in regards to an employee complaining of a possible assault.

Charged with the following is Marcel FORTIN (69) of Elliot Lake:
Assault X2
Breach of Probation.

FORTIN remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Bail Court on March 27th, 2006.
