HOLY COW!!
Echo Bay, Ont.,

An early morning accident on Hwy 17 just outside of Echo Bay has left one cow dead and heavily damaged two vehicles

This morning at about 2:30 a.m. a herd of cattle escaped from their field and ended up on the highway just east of Echo Bay. A westbound vehicle struck and killed one of the cattle. As the cow lay on the highway, a second vehicle also struck the dead animal.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged and had to be towed away from the scene.

No one was injured in the accident and no charges were laid against the owner of the cattle.
