DRIVER CHARGED IN MOTOR VEHICLE ROLLOVER
(Aweres Twp., ON) – Sault Ste. Marie OPP responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 17 north at the bottom of the Mile Hill yesterday at 12:20 a.m.
A 1993 Nissan Maxima was travelling southbound when the driver lost control drove onto the northbound shoulder and back onto the roadway, rolling over and landing on its roof.
The driver was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle received extensive damage and had to be towed.
Charged with failing to drive in marked lane contrary to the Highway Traffic Act is 43 year old Campbell Thomas of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
