Yes, we rely too much on the U.S.
Canada should strengthen ties with other global partners instead.
Isn't that the same thing?

WE NEED TO GET BACK CREDITABILITY BY GETTING OUR POLITICAL HOUSE IN ORDER INSTEAD OF HAVING FORD RUN AROUND ACTING AS IF HE IS THE PRIME MINISTER BECAUSE ON VOTING DAY HE COULD BE/SHOULD BE JUST LIKE TRUDEAU

The liberals failed Canada. Our PM was asked by tax payers & his own party to step down.
So certainly Doug Ford should of stepped up as Ontario has a lot to lose with these tariff wars. He is also a business man & has the knowledge to speak for Canadians.
Obviously cannot rely on the liberal party.!

We need a federal election NOW!
Vancouver Is Awesome
These options are bad. There should be an option for "Keep and grow relations with US, while developing additional export markets"
We benefit greatly from US trade, a 5% increase there is worth a 20+% increase with asia an Europe. The short distance and big market is important. Meanwhile yes, we need to build pipelines, LNG terminals, rail lines, and highway/port capacity to export more overseas so that we don't rely on 1 market to sell to, and can get the world price for our resources and goods.

Unfortunately the Americans are dishonest partners who don't adhere to agreements they sign. What good is a signed free trade agreement when the Americans just violate it at will?

Not all Americans. Just the ones that support the lunatic president.

Amazon, Walmart, Costco Uber, AirB&B, Starbucks, Best Buy, Home Depot, Tim Hortons, etc...are huge American organizations that have taken over our shopping habits to the detriment of our own businesses.... Not to mention our culture. And do they pay taxes in Canada and contribute to our education or our health care system or our infrastructure?
When are we going to wake up and support our OWN Canadian companies, technologies, talent, savoir faire, arts ? When are we going to start processing and manufacturing instead of sending our raw products and natural resources and importing the valu-added-finished product.
We have a lot more to offer than Maple Syrup and Poutine.... Let's not wait until we are a mere franchise.

Don't fix what isn't broken.

What makes you think it isn't broken?
TBNewsWatch.com
How can you say that it isn’t broken?

It’s kinda broken…. We should diversify
Not sure how all the climate change activists are going to justify increasing all of their climate footprints by shipping things overseas that they can get nextdoor. It’s 100% hypocritical of them to do so.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT USA but LIBERALS!
The only reason trump is doing what he is doing is because trudeau is weak as a pm he knows it the world knows it

There is not one single good reason that Canada does not make its own brand of cars and trucks
We need to stop pleasing other countries and start supporting Canada

Mark Carney probably said it best when he indicated Canada should look to trade with other countries that share our values. The US under Trump’s leadership certainly doesn’t exhibit Canadian values and or ethics. Despite political rhetoric from some politicians Canada is not broken and we are now united in our fight against Trump’s aggression.

Canada is broken, 100%
It’s needs a serious overhaul on almost every measure.
“We” are not united in YOUR fight against Trump’s (yes bullish) negotiating tactics at prodding Canada to get its ish together.
If anything, 77% of Canadians are united in OUR fight against the totalitarian, fascist Liberal NDP coalition who have indeed broken Canada in many many ways.
Federal election now.
Get these tyrants out of power, and get this country back in order, now.
That’s what Canada needs
