Adopt-a-senior this holiday season

Join Superior Staff it in giving back to seniors living in long-term care this Holiday Season

The holidays are often a lonely time for seniors which can cause feelings of isolation, depression, and anxiety. Superior Staff it wants to ensure every senior residing in long-term care experiences joy this Christmas.

Each year, Superior Staff it partners with local long-term care homes to connect with seniors who may not receive a gift due to a lack of family or friends, financial situations, or other circumstances that may inhibit them from not having a gift to open this Christmas.

Last year, Superior Staff it delivered 32 gifts to seniors in long-term care thanks to generous donors within the community. This year, through the support of the community, Superior Staff it aims to increase that number.

Starting November 20th, community members can "adopt" a senior in long-term care and fulfill their wish list, giving them a gift to open on Christmas morning. Sponsoring a senior in long-term care this holiday season is an honourable way to give back to our senior population and recognize their profound contributions to our community.

Superior Staff it’s passion for supporting seniors in long-term care doesn’t end there. In the spirit of giving, they have partnered with local musician Matthew James to provide musical entertainment at several long-term care homes in the community during the month of December.

President and Founder Sheri-Ann Morin stated, “Giving back is a passion of mine, I am in a position where I can give. I love spearheading new initiatives for our community, seniors, and the vulnerable population, hopefully making a strong, lasting impact.”
