The philosophy at Laser Advantage MedSpa in Sault Ste. Marie is definitely “less is more”. The goal is to help clients look their best, always natural, using the simplest approach.

“We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary with our amazing clients. There will be giveaways and VIP pricing on treatments and skincare,” says Jen Kapur, Owner.
When LA MedSpa’s doors first opened in 2005, they only offered microdermabrasion and laser hair removal, and had just 3 treatment rooms.
“Over the years, we have added more staff members and increased our training and service offerings. We had 2 treatments available and now we have over 40. We were the first MedSpa to open in Sault Ste. Marie, and we are the biggest in the area,” says Kapur.
They now have 10 staff members and 11 devices that can treat a multitude of skin concerns. In 2021 they moved to their current location, with 8 treatment rooms, their space quadrupling in size from from 1,000 to 4,000 sq. ft.
Their most popular treatments? Botox, filler, FOTONA, laser resurfacing, and laser hair removal. “Many treatments are customized and combined to target anti-aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, etc.” explains Kapur.
LA MedSpa also sells medical-grade skin care products. “Good skincare is a tried and true way to help deliver results and enhance treatment results,” she says. You’ll find the Vivier, Kai Derm, and Proderm lines—all Canadian-based companies—colorescience, universkin, and alastin.
“We just recently added new technologies in the past month and are going to be building those for the next few months,” says Kapur. “We always want to bring in new services, experiences... stay tuned for more!”
