Superior Staff it consists of over 120 field personnel, including positions such as Personal Support Workers (PSW), Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Dietary Aides, and Housekeepers. Superior Staff it is accepting applications for all positions on an ongoing basis. Currently, they are specifically looking for Personal Support Workers (PSWs).
Applicants must have successfully completed a Personal Support Worker program from a recognized and accredited institution. Additionally, students who have completed their first year in a recognized Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program are also encouraged to apply.
Superior Staff it also considers internationally educated nurses who hold an Ontario Personal Support Worker Association membership and have at least 1 year of experience in Canada. They also welcome individuals with a PSW certificate who have not worked as a PSW for some time. In partnership with the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association, PSW’s looking to re-enter the workforce will have the opportunity to complete a two-day PSW Refresher Course at no cost to sharpen their skills and education, get up-to-date on our current healthcare system, and prepare them to work as a PSW once again.
Personal Support Workers hired with Superior Staff it will receive site-specific orientations and training, 24/7 support from their team, and competitive compensation. Superior Staff it employees are given scheduling flexibility using shift acceptance software making scheduling simple and streamlined. This scheduling software allows staff to create their own schedule and provides employees with a work-life balance to work around school, family, and other employment responsibilities. Additionally, premium rates are offered on any last-minute shifts posted 12-hours or less prior to the start time of the shift. Among these benefits, employees will also be granted incentives such as giveaways, contests, and a chance to participate in a referral program.
