Crime Stoppers and the Elliot Lake Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving numerous break-in’s and thefts in the City of Elliot Lake.
During the summer months, Elliot Lake saw many unsolved property crimes and vehicle entries.
While the most common items stolen were cash, wallets and electronics, also stolen were a green Apple IPOD and a Magellan GPS Device.
During this same time period, numerous pieces of sporting equipment were stolen from yards, including:
- A 2004 black and green Artic Cat DVX 400 ATV
- An orange 7-foot Pelican Youth sized Kayak, with marble streaks and a distinct skull and cross-bone paint scheme
- A 1979 Johnson 9.9 HP outboard motor
- A Hutch brand bronze / gold BMX bike
- A “Felt Racing” brand red BMX Bike
- A Mongoose brand blue Mountain bike
- A “Titan Hutch” brand yellow BMX Bike
- A CCM black and orange Mountain Bike
