Save Our Young Against Prescription Drug Abuse (SOYA) is a local community group that was started 4 years ago by this nominee, Connie Raynor-Elliott. Connie, often called "Mamabear" by those close to her, started the organization to help those suffering with addictions as well as support their families and loved ones. SOYA offers a mentorship program, and provides transportation to treatments, meetings and appointments for those in need of assistance. Last year, SOYA helped approximately 138 people/families. Our anonymous sponsor has provided the organization with a $100 gas card and Greenhouse Spa wants to pamper Connie with a manicure and pedicure.
