With less than a week to go now before the big day, all five local federal candidates will step in front of the cameras to tell you where they stand on the important issues.
The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce and Algoma University's political science department have crafted the questions you want answered and they will be put to the candidates Wednesday night in a two-hour all-candidates panel discussion in council chambers at the Civic Centre.
Shaw Spotlight will broadcast the event on Channel 10 and it will be shown live right here on SooToday beginning at 7 p.m.
Algoma University students will pose the questions and SooToday's own Jasmyn Rowley will serve as moderator for the event.
All candidates have confirmed they will take part. Running to represent the Sault in Ottawa are: Sara McCleary (NDP), Geo McLean (Green), Sonny Spina (Conservative), Terry Sheehan (Liberal) and Amy Zuccato (Peoples).
Election Day is Monday, Oct. 21. For more SooToday coverage of the election and links to voting resources, check out our Canada Votes page.
