One person faces child pornography related charges following an investigation that began in June 2022 initiated by the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre.
A search warrant was executed at the residence of the accused, 19-year-old Duey Wynne-Stone, on Dec. 1 during which a number of devices were seized for forensic examination.
"Further computer forensic examination revealed child pornography downloaded and uploaded from accounts associated with the accused," says a news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
Wynne-Stone was arrested on March 2 and stands charged with:
• Possession of child pornography
• Importing and distributing child pornography
The accused was held in custody to await a bail hearing.
