Sault Ste. Marie police say they have left the scene at a business in the 400 block of Pim Street, where they had received reports of a person with a gun Saturday afternoon.
Following a thorough search of the area, officers did not locate anyone matching the description of the person who reportedly had a firearm at the business, police said in a news release at about 3:17 p.m.
No firearm was located. No arrests were made and no physical injuries have been reported, the release added.
