Two persons to appear in bail court: 1)Yesterday evening at approx. 10:30 pm city police arrested a 40-year-old male and charged him with one count of criminal harassment and two counts of breach of a recognizance.

1)Yesterday evening at approx. 10:30 pm city police arrested a 40-year-old male and charged him with one count of criminal harassment and two counts of breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that the accused harassed his ex-common-law girlfriend by constantly attending near her residence. At the time of this offence the accused was on a recognizance release order with conditions to stay away from the victim’s residence.

2) Early this morning city police attended at a west end address and arrest a 32-year-old female on two counts of breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that the accused breached her recognizance release order by communicating and being at the residence of her ex-common-law boyfriend.

Male arrested for theft under $ 5,000:

At approx.5:45 pm yesterday city police attended at the A&P Store located at 275 Second Line W. and arrested 20-year-old Steven McCanna, of 314 Albert St. E. apt # 11. It is alleged that the accused entered the store and stole food items valued at $ 8.98. Mr. McCanna is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000 and will be appearing in court on Aug 31st at 9:00 am.

Four vehicles parked in the following locations were damaged:
The 200 block of Queen St. E.
The100 block of Great Northern Rd.
The 100 block of Lasalle Crt.
The 700 block of Landslide Rd.
A mailbox was damaged in the 800 block of Wellington St.E.
A window was broken at a residence in the 100 block of Grandriver Cr.
At approx 4:30 this morning an unknown male broke a window at the Calvary Christian Centre and fled the area.
