Two Domestic Related Arrests for Bail Court Appearance this Morning

A 22 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of January at 10:22 pm at an east end residence and charged with one count of breach of a release document, four counts of breach of probation and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance. It is alleged that on the 14th of January the accused attended at the residence of his ex-girlfriend and at the time he was on court release and probation conditions not to attend there or communicate with her due to previous domestic related offences. At the time of his arrest he was found in possession of a small amount of cannabis resin.

A 28 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of January at 5:30 pm at his residence and charged with two counts of assault. It is alleged that on the 5th and 14th of January the accused assaulted his common law partner at their residence. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result.

Male Arrested for Assault

49 year-old Peter Hunter of #24-15 Fish Hatchery Road was arrested this morning at 3 am on Fish Hatchery Road and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 14th of January at approximately 7:20 pm the accused attended at the residence of a male known to him, got into a verbal dispute with him and assaulted him. The 53 year-old victim had to attend at the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries as a result. The accused is to appear in court on the 22nd of February.

Break and Enter Reports

• A residence on Alberta Avenue was entered sometime overnight on the 14th of January. A flat screen television, a laptop, and a wallet containing identification some cash was stolen.
• A residence on Pentagon Boulevard was entered yesterday during the day. Two televisions, a laptop, a Play Station 2, an X-Box 360, a guitar and drum kit were reported stolen.
