Female arrested for breach of probation Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old female on a warrant for breach of probation.

Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old female on a warrant for breach of probation. It is alleged that on December 15th 2010 the accused breach two conditions of her probation order release. Tammy Moore, age 41 of 352 Cathcart St is charged with two counts of breach of probation. Ms Moore is to appear in court on Aug 8th at 9:00 am.

Male charged with stunt driving
Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service charged a 44-year-old male with stunt driving. It is alleged that the accused was operating his vehicle on Second Line W. near Farwell Terr at a speed of 123 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. William Kingston, age 44 of 55 Edison Ave is charged with one count of stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act. The charge results in an automatic seven day driver’s licence suspension and a seven impound of the vehicle. The accused is to appear in court on Aug. 10th at 9:00 am.

A conviction under this section could result in fines from $2,000 to $10,000, a prison term of up to 6 months and a possible driver’s licence suspension of up to 2 years.

Break and enter
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service received four reports of break and enters yesterday.

A residence in the 100 block of Findlay Dr was entered – jewellery was reported stolen.

A residence in the 1000 block of Wellington St. E. was entered – money was stolen.

An apartment in the 1100 block of Albert St. E was entered. Four guitars were stolen.

An apartment in the 100 block of Manitou Dr. was entered. It is unknown what was taken at this time.

Theft
Cash was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Prentice Ave.

Yesterday evening at approximately 9:30 pm three males were seen fleeing from a residence in the 100 block of Poplar Ave. It was reported that a laptop computer was stolen. The suspects, all believed to be in their 20’s, were seen getting into a small silver vehicle.
