Four persons to appear in bail court: 1) Yesterday at approx. 7:15 pm city police arrested Clinton Perreault, age 37, of 222 Albert St. E.
Four persons to appear in bail court:

1) Yesterday at approx. 7:15 pm city police arrested Clinton Perreault, age 37, of 222 Albert St. E. and charged him with one count of theft under $ 5,000 and one count of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Station Mall L.C.B.O. Store and stole two bottles of liquor. It is further alleged that at the time of this offence the accused was on an undertaking release order with conditions to abstain from going to the Station Mall at 293 Bay St.

2) Two 14-year-old youths were arrested yesterday afternoon and were each charged with one count of mischief. It is alleged that the two accused entered a home, in the east end of the city and then caused damage inside the residence.

3) Yesterday morning city police attended at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and arrested Jason Perrault, age 23, of no fixed address. Mr. Perrault was arrested on two warrants for break and enter and theft under $ 5,000.It is alleged that in November 2006 the accused broke into a residence in the 200 block of Walnut St. and stole a quantity of jewelry.

Male arrested for mischief:

Yesterday at approx. 2:00 pm city police arrested Norman Bourgeois, age 21, of 60 Atwater St. and charged him with one count of mischief. It is alleged that the accused damaged the bus shelter, on John St. north of
St. George’s Ave., by breaking two glass panels. The accused will be appearing in court on October 19th at 9:00 am.

Property Crimes:

Break and enter:


Nichols Auto Shop, located 1205 People’s Rd, was entered yesterday- a quantity of tools was taken.

Mischief:

Damage was done to a home under construction in the 100 block of Old Goulais Bay Rd.

Theft:

A resident of the Davey Home reports that two World War II medals were stolen from their room yesterday.
Two welding machines were reported stolen from Purvis Marine, 1 Pim St.

Attempted Robbery:

Yesterday evening city police were called to the West End Shoe Store at approx 6:25 pm regarding an attempted robbery. A lone male approached the store owner outside the store and attempted to obtain money from the complainant. The suspect left the area when the complainant returned to the store to call police. The suspect is described as: Male, white 18-20 years of age, last seen wearing a red baseball cap, black shirt and blue jeans.
