On Jan. 22, 2018 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Technological Crime Unit arrested a 44-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie for possession of child pornography.
It is alleged that in Oct. of 2017 the accused took intimate photos of a young female known to him without her knowledge or consent. Officers located the accused on Jan. 22 and he was taken into custody.
He has been charged with one count of voyeurism and one count of making child pornography. He was held for bail court.
