A man was arrested early Sunday morning after a bizarre incident in the west end.
At around 1:30 a.m., Sault Police say a person entered a house in the 600 block of Farwell Terrace — but then ran away after being confronted by the homeowners.
Five minutes later, police say the same person returned to the house, threatened the owners, then ran away again.
The suspect was arrested nearby a short while later, police say.
Allan Turner, 30, is charged with:
- Unlawfully in Dwelling House
- Uttering Threats
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Turner is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
