Yesterday at 2:00am, city police assisted security at the River Rock, in locating a male person, wanted for mischief.

It is alleged that Eric Wickstrom, age 19 of 34 Parkewood Drive damaged the window of a vehicle parked at the rear of the River Rock.

As a result, Mr. Wickstrom was charged with Mischief and a Breach of Probation. He will be appearing in court on Nov. 22 at 9:00am.


POLICE CALLED TO A FIGHT
Yesterday at 8:15am, city police were called to an address in the 100 block of Grove Crescent regarding a fight.

Upon police arrival, it was learned that a fight had taken place inside the residence resulting in one male person suffered a laceration to his side.

The suspect was still at the residence and was subsequently arrested. Charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Possession of a Narcotic is Scott Wright, age 41, of 98 Bloor Street West. He will be appearing in court on Nov 29th at 9:00 am. The victim of the assault was treated at the hospital and release.


BREAK & ENTERS
City police were called to investigate 4 break and enters and 2 attempted break-ins over the weekend.

A vacant house in the 100 block of Trelawne Avenue was entered and mischief was caused inside the premises.

Thieves broke a side window and gained entry to a residence in the 200 block of Upton Road. Once inside culprits stole a digital camera and a chequebook.

A break-in was reported to a residence in the 500 block of Farwell Terrace. Entry was gained via a bathroom window. It is not known what was stolen at this time.

A rear door was force at a residence in the 100 block of Grace Street. Once inside culprits stole a small quantity of alcohol.

The two attempted break-ins took place at residences in the 300 block of Wallace Terrace and at a business located at 278 Bruce St. The business name is ssmbiz.com
