Mischief Reports: A fence on Trunk Road was reported damaged. The ATM at the Royal Bank on Second Line West was smashed. Theft Reports: -A Rawlings Bicycle was stolen from Pine Street.
Mischief Reports:

A fence on Trunk Road was reported damaged.
The ATM at the Royal Bank on Second Line West was smashed.

Theft Reports:

-A Rawlings Bicycle was stolen from Pine Street.
-Rings were reported stolen from a residence on Queen Street East.
-A vehicle manual, the ownership and insurance papers were stolen from a vehicle that was entered on Albert Street East.
-A set of golf clubs were stolen from a shed on Alexandra Street.
-A front licence plate was taken off a vehicle on Fifth Line East.

Break and Enter Reports:

Police responded to an alarm at Korah Collegiate on Goulais Avenue around 1:17 am last night. A window was found smashed on the west side. It is not known if entry was gained or if anything was stolen at this time.
There was an attempt break and enter to a residence on Huron Street on the 2nd of October. Damage was reported to a door and window.

A residence on St. George’s Avenue West was entered on the 2nd of October. Items reported stolen included a Phillips LCD television, a cordless phone, three cartons of cigarettes, a leather wallet with cash inside and some medication.

A residence on Grace Street was entered sometime overnight on the 2/3rd of October. A jacket a wallet and cash were reported stolen.

A garage on Wallace Terrace was entered sometime overnight on the 4th of September. A bike was reported stolen.

Two Domestic Related Arrests:

A 28 year-old male was arrested on the 3rd of October at 1:25 am and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 3rd of October at approximately 1 am the accused assaulted his common partner at their residence. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 3rd of October at 4:55 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of assault, one count of threaten death or bodily harm, one count of mischief and one count of escape custody. It is alleged that on the 3rd of October around 2 pm the accused attended at his ex-girlfriend’s residence, got into a verbal argument with her and assaulted her. When the accused was leaving he took the victim’s cell phone and smashed it in the driveway and threatened her. The accused turned himself in at the police station a few hours later, and when police advised him he was going to be arrested and taken into custody, he fled on foot a short distance, but was quickly apprehended by police.

Male Arrested for Mischief at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre:

33 year-old Kerry Mearow currently in custody at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre was arrested on the 3rd of October at 8:15 pm at the Centre and charged with one count of mischief over $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 3rd of October at approximately 6:38 pm the accused, while in custody at the Centre, smashed a glass partition window in the remand module. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Charged with Three Counts of Voyeurism:

A 45 year-old male was arrested on the 3rd of October at 5:47 pm at the city police station and charged with three counts of voyeurism. It is alleged that on three occasions from the 1st of September to the 3rd of October, the accused used a hidden video camera inside his residence to videotape a female family member for a sexual purpose. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Assault Warrant:

22 year-old Keith Crack of no fixed address was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 2nd of October at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and charged with one count of assault and five counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused was wanted for assaulting a female known to him on the 15th of July. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Shoplifting Arrests:

36 year-old Louise Desmoulin of #1-169 John Street was arrested on the 2nd of October at 6:16 pm at the Station Mall and charged with one count of assault, one four counts of breach of probation and two count so theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 2nd of October at around 5:35 the accused attended at the San Francisco Store and stole two porcelain statues. When staff members attempted to apprehend her, she assaulted one of them. Police attended and further investigation revealed that the accused shoplifted at the Foot Locker Store as well. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation orders with conditions to remain away from the Station Mall and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. She is to appear in bail court this morning.

20 year-old Steven McCanna of #2-321 Cathcart Street, 19 year-old Catherine St. John of #1-35 Cathcart Street and 18 year-old Winnifred St. John of 218 Albert Street West were all arrested on the 2nd of October at Joe’s No Frills on Korah Road and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that they attended at the store around 6 pm on the 2nd of October and stole some groceries. Winnifred St. John and Catherine St. John are to appear in court on the 2nd of November and Steven McCanna, also charged with one count of breach of a release order for associating with the two other accused, is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Charged with Driving While Disqualified:

22 year-old Ronald Dowding of 394 Goulais Avenue (basement) was arrested on the 2nd of October at 12:08 am on Goulais Avenue and charged with one count of operate motor vehicle while disqualified. It is alleged that on the 2nd of October just after midnight, city police observed the accused driving a 1990 Chev Pickup on Douglas Street and at the time he was prohibited from driving. He is to appear in court on the 2nd of November
