Male Shoplifter Arrested: 26 year-old Tyson Seabrook of 555 Dundas Street was arrested on the 12th of September at 6:03 pm at Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road after he allegedly attended at the store around 5:32 pm and stole some electronics.

26 year-old Tyson Seabrook of 555 Dundas Street was arrested on the 12th of September at 6:03 pm at Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road after he allegedly attended at the store around 5:32 pm and stole some electronics. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of breach of probation and will appear in bail court this morning.

Domestic Related Arrests:

1) A 49 year-old male was arrested on the 12th of September at 2:48 am at his residence and charged with four counts of assault and one count of mischief. It is alleged that from the 18th of August to the 10th of September the accused assaulted his common law spouse at their residence on four different occasions. During one of the disputes the accused also damaged the victim’s sunglasses. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

2) A 40 year-old male was arrested on the 13th of September at 12:30 am at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 13th of September the accused assaulted his common law partner at their residence. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Female Arrested after Assaulting Police Officer:

A 15 year-old female youth was arrested on the 12th of September at 5:21 am at a downtown residence and charged with one count of cause a disturbance and one count of assault peace officer. It is alleged that on the 12th of September City police attended to a noise disturbance call at a downtown residence and when they arrived they located the accused just outside the residence screaming and swearing. When officers attempted to speak with her, she kicked one of them and continued to yell and swear at them. She is to appear in court on the 13th of October.

Impaired Driver Arrested:

48 year-old Glenn Rathbone of #2-42 Grace Street was arrested on the 13th of September at 3:55 am on Trunk Road and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that at approximately 3:45 am City Police received a call regarding an impaired driver on Trunk Road. Police located the vehicle at and east end service station and found the driver, the accused, to be under the influence of alcohol. He is to appear in court on the 19th of October.

Female Arrested for Assaulting Staff Member at Local High School:

A 17 year-old female youth was arrested on the 11th of September at 2:40 pm at the police station and charged with one count of assault and one count of threatening death. It is alleged that on the 11th of September at approximately 12:50 pm while at a local high school the accused assaulted and threatened to kill a staff member. She is to appear in court on the 13th of October.

Mischief

43 year-old Maurice Iahtail of #219-345 St. Georges Avenue East was arrested on the 12th of September at 8:45 pm on St. Georges Avenue and charged with one count of mischief. It is alleged that on the 12th of September the accused attended at a residence of a person known to him and caused damage to the front door area with a knife. The accused is to appear in court on the 19th of October.

Theft

25 year-old Rhea Desmond of #109-441 Queen Street West was arrested on the 12th of September at 4:41 pm at Sears in the Station Mall after she allegedly attended at the store and stole some items. She has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and will appear in court on the 19th of October.

Property Crimes:

Break and Enter Reports:


• A residence in the 600 block of Wellington Street West was entered on the 12t-13th of September. A Sony play station and games were reported stolen.
• A garage on Broad Street was reported entered in the early morning hours on the 12th of September.
• A garage on Johnson Avenue was entered in the morning hours of the 12th of September.
• A shed on Pittsburgh Avenue was reported entered on the 11th of September. Several tools were reported stolen.

Mischief Reports:

• Mailboxes were reported damaged on Old Garden River Road.
• A window screen was reported damaged at a residence on Breton Road.
• A rock was thrown through a front window of a residence on Boston Avenue.
