Police had their weapons drawn this morning as they descended on an address in the city's west end.
Five police cruisers were on the scene in the 400 block of Second Line West some time around 10:30 a.m.
A Sault Ste. Marie Police Service spokesperson said the incident started as a noise complaint which led to a weapons call.
However, no weapons were found and "everyone is safe and sound", according to police.
The scene was cleared of all police vehicles as of 11 a.m.
