The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service invesigated three domestic matters overnight.
In one of those matters, a heated argument resulted in a butcher knife being raised but not used.
As a result, a 36-year-old woman was charged with assault with a weapon.
Police also had one case of impaired driving.
