On Monday, Sault Police officers charged a 27-year-old woman after they say she repeatedly called a police service in Florida.

At around 9 a.m. on March 23, 911 communicators received a report of the accused calling a police department in Florida multiple times a day, at all hours of the day, without reason.

Officers located the accused and verbally warned her to stop calling the police department as it was interfering with operations, police said.

“Several hours later, 911 communicators received another report of the accused calling the same police department four more times,” police said in a release.

On Monday, officers located and arrested the accused.

  • Harassing Communications
  • Mischief – Interfere with Lawful Use, Enjoyment, or Operation of Property

Toman-Harvey was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on May 26.

None of the accusations have been tested in court and Toman-Harvey is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
