City police detectives wasted no time in cracking a fraud case and charging three people. It is alleged that Jamie Wilson, age 23 of 356 Maretta Street stole some I.D. and used it to open charge accounts at three local businesses.

City police detectives wasted no time in cracking a fraud case and charging three people. It is alleged that Jamie Wilson, age 23 of 356 Maretta Street stole some I.D. and used it to open charge accounts at three local businesses. Also charged are Lisa Mortari, age 25 and Dwayne Leblanc, age 22 both of 357 Bruce Street.

Merchandise valued at $2,600 was stolen. Police were on their trail and made the arrest at 11:00 last night, which was within 48 hours of the alleged identity theft.

Sergeant Steve Davey told SooToday.com news that Wilson has been charged with impersonation, 3 counts of fraud, possession of stolen merchandise and several charges relating to outstanding warrants.

Lisa Mortari has been charged with 3 counts of fraud and possession of stolen goods. She will go to court in October.

Leblanc has been charged with one count of fraud and possession. Wilson and Leblanc go to w.a.s.h. court this morning.
