Assault at Sir James Dunn At approx. 2:00 PM yesterday City Police arrested a 43 year old female for assault. It is alleged that the accused attended at Sir James Dunn School and assaulted a female student.

At approx. 2:00 PM yesterday City Police arrested a 43 year old female for assault. It is alleged that the accused attended at Sir James Dunn School and assaulted a female student. Victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault but did not require medical treatment. Charged with Assault is Annie-Jane Lillie, of 79c Grove Cres. she will be appearing in court on Monday October 30 at 9:00 AM.

Break & Enters

City Police were called to investigate two reports of break and enter and one attempted break-in.

Culprits broke into a residence in the 200 block of Hampton Rd. Once inside they ransacked the premises and caused extensive damage to the interior.

A small amount of change was stolen at a break in to a garage in the 200 block of Anna St.

Culprits attempted to break into a residence in the 100 block of Princeton Dr. but were only successful in damaging the door.

Multiple Complaints of Mischief

City Police received five complaints of mischief – three of which were to vehicles.

A car parked in the 100 block of Weldon Ave had the windshield smashed and paint poured over the car.A vehicle parked in the 500 block of Trunk Rd. had a door damaged and a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Queen St.E. was keyed. Windows were damaged at Sault Transmission- 423 Pim St. and at Panna Bar & Grill - 472 Queen St.E.

Stolen Vehicle

City Police also received a report of a stolen vehicle yesterday. A 1997 red Chrysler Intrepid was stolen from the 600 block of Connaught Ave.

Motorcycle Collision

Yesterday morning, at approx 8:50 AM City Police investigated a motor vehicle collision with injuries, on Second Line W. near Cooper St. In the incident a westbound motorcycle struck two vehicles that were stopped for a school bus. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The motorcycle driver, a 53-year-old male, was charged with Failing to Signal Lane Change under the Highway Traffic Act.
