Bail Court 32-year-old Lee-Ann Perrault of 72 Wellington Street West was arrested on the 9th of September 2010 at 12:50 a.m. on Gore Street for outstanding warrants.
Bail Court
32-year-old Lee-Ann Perrault of 72 Wellington Street West was arrested on the 9th of September 2010 at 12:50 a.m. on Gore Street for outstanding warrants. Patrol officers had occasion to check the accused on Gore Street and were aware that she was wanted on two warrants (for an alleged breach of probation and failing to appear for finger prints). She is presently awaiting bail court.

Drug Charge
32-year-old Jeffery Jason Budge of 335 Alexandra Street was arrested on the 08th of September 2010 at 2:38 p.m. on St. Andrews Terrace following a vehicle stop. Members of the Sault Ste. Marie “Street Team” conducting a drug investigation searched the vehicle that he was driving and allegedly located several oxycodone pills and several rounds of ammunition. The accused was charged with possession of a controlled drug and possessing ammunition contrary to a court order prohibiting him to do so. He was released with a court date of the 18th of October 2010.

Shoplifter
55-year-old Donald Ernest Schroeder of 1182 Queen Street East was arrested on the 08th of September 2010 at 2:33 p.m. at Canadian Tire (200 McNabb Street) for shoplifting. It is alleged that the accused stole several sockets from the tool section. He was arrested by store security and held for police. The accused was charged for theft and released with a court date of the 18th of October 2010.

Break And Enters
An apartment on James Street was broken into and prescription medication reported stolen.

A business on Gore Street reports a break and enter that likely occurred several weeks earlier in which gold coins appear to have been taken.

Theft From Vehicles
A wallet was taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of Cathcart Street and clothing was taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Bruce Street.

Motor Vehicle Collision Resulting in Charge
40-year-old Loretta Prevost of 17 Albion Street was charged under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario subsequent to a motor vehicle collision that she was involved in on the 7th of September 2010 at 5:07 p.m. At that time it is alleged that the accused was operating her car south on Dacey Road and proceeded to make a left turn onto Chambers Avenue striking an east bound car. The accused was charged with failing to yield to traffic. The accused vehicle sustained severe damage while the other vehicle sustained moderate damage as a result of the collision. The 56-year-old female driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital and treated for minimal injuries. The accused a female passenger sustained minor and minimal injuries that did not require immediate medical attention at the time.
