Two persons to appear for bail court
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old male on several warrants. It is alleged that on June 15th the accused committed the offence of mischief by breaking a window. It is further alleged that on June 15th the accused was driving a motor vehicle while he was under suspension. It is also alleged that on June 16th the accused breached conditions of his intermittent sentence by failing to return to the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre to serve his intermittent sentence.

At the time of these offences the accused was on a probation order release. All these charges stem from a domestic incident. The accused is charged with one count of mischief, one count of drive while disqualified, one count of breach of probation and one count of being unlawfully at large.

Yesterday evening members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 31-year-old male for two breaches. It is alleged that on July 1st the accused person breached conditions of his undertaking release order by consuming alcohol and communicating with his ex-common-law wife. The accused is charged with two counts of breach of an undertaking.

Male arrested for theft
Yesterday evening members of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year-old for theft. It is alleged that the accused male attended at the Station Mall Drug Store and stole a container of deodorant spray valued at $6.19. Cody McKinnon, age 18 of 316 Patrick St is charged with one count of theft under $5,000. Mr. McKinnon is to appear in court on Aug 15th at 9:00 am.

Male arrested on a warrant
Yesterday evening members of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 22-year-old male on a warrant for break and enter. It is alleged that on July 16th 2006 the accused broke into a residence in the east end of the city. At the time of the offence officers took DNA samples from the scene and subsequently matched the samples to the accused person. At the time of this offence the accused male was 17-years old. The accused is charged with one count of break and enter.

Female arrested for failing to appear for identification
Yesterday morning members of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 32-year-old female for failing to appear for fingerprints. It is alleged that the accused female failed to attend at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Station on May 30th 2011 for finger prints. Laurie-Anne McWatch, age 32, of 11 Grace St is charged with one count of failing to appear for identification. Ms McWatch is to appear in court on Aug 15thn at 9:00 am.

Two males arrested for theft and possession of stolen property
Yesterday morning members of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old male for theft of a vehicle. It is alleged that the accused males stole a 2000 Ford motor vehicle from McKenzie Ave on July 4th and were later seen leaving the vehicle on Fifth Line E.

Jake Pelletier, age 20 of 736 McKenzie Ave and Nicholas Fronzie, age 20 of 736 McKenzie Ave are each charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. The accused are to appear in court on Aug 15th at 9:00 am.

Break and enter
A garage in the 100 block of Laura St was broken into. A generator was taken.

Mischief
A vehicle parked in the 900 block of McNabb St was damaged.

Theft
A vehicle was entered in the 900 block of Third Line E. – a small amount of coin was stolen.

Electronic items were stolen from a business in the 800 block of Queen St. E.
