Police Seek Publics Assitance In Locating Missing Person

Officers from the Sault Ste Marie Police Services Investigations Services Section are asking the public for any information on the whereabouts of Timothy Blair Granville, age 39. Family and friends have not seen Mr. Granville since October 21st, 2005. A family member last spoke to Mr. Granville October 24th, 2005.

Mr Granville is a white male, age 39, 5’10” tall, 160lbs, has blue eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue cloth jacket with suede sleeves and a Nike ball cap.

The Sault Ste Marie Police Service has concerns relative to his welfare and are requesting any person(s)/agency having information regarding the whereabouts of Timothy Granville to immediately contact the Sault Ste Marie Police Service at 949-6300.

Male On Release Document

On 63-year old Robert Archibald of 15 Beech Street will appear in bail court this morning. Officers from Investigation Services arrested the accused last evening. The accused was on a release document with conditions to refrain from being at premises where children under 14 years of age were likely to be. Officers located the accused in a downtown residence in the presence of two children, ages 10 and 12.

Youth Charged with Theft

19-year old Joshua Yukich of 123 Salisbury Avenue was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the accused took 2 Play Station games from their packages and put them in his pocket ad left Second Hand World located at 111 Tancred Street. The accused was apprehended by store personnel and turned over to City Police. Mr. Yukich will appear in court on December 12th.

Break and Enters Reported

City Police received on report of a break and enter yesterday. Thieves entered a home in the 300 block of Pine Street between 12 noon and 3 pm and stole a Play Station 2 and some games for the system.

Vending Machines Damaged

Yesterday City Police received a report of mischief to a number of Pepsi vending machines owned by Meyer’s Munchies. 6 machines were damaged and the change was removed from them. Three of the machines are located on the boardwalk, one at the Humane Society, one at Service Rental and one at A&P Market Mall. Damage to the machines is estimated at $1,000.
