Domestic Related Arrests for Bail Court Appearance this Morning: 1) A 35 year-old male was arrested on the 28th of September at 9:30 am and charged with one count of assault.
Domestic Related Arrests for Bail Court Appearance this Morning:

1) A 35 year-old male was arrested on the 28th of September at 9:30 am and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 28th of September 9:25 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with his common law spouse in the driveway of a centrally located residence. When the female attempted to drive away, the accused assaulted her.

2) A 51 year-old male was arrested on the 28th of September at 5:05 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is allege that on the 28th of September at approximately 4:45 pm the accused assaulted his common law spouse at their residence.

3) A 37 year-old male wanted on several outstanding domestic related warrants was arrested last evening around 8:05 m at an east end residence and charged with three counts of breach of release documents and one count of fail to appear court.

4) 26 year-old Luc Dale of 274 Selby Road was arrested on the 29th of September at 1:19 am on Wellington Street West and charged with one count of attempt theft over $5,000.00 and one count of possession of housebreaking tools. It is alleged that on the 29th of September the accused attempted to steal a 2002 Dodge Caravan from Wellington Street West. Witnesses called police after observing two males attempting to break into the van, enter it and attempt to start it. Both males fled as police arrived. This accused was apprehended and at the time he was found in possession of a knife and screwdriver. He is to appear in court on the 2nd of November.

Female Charged with Assault on Security Guard:

38 year-old Claudia Lambert of #411-137 East Street was arrested on the 28th of September at 4:06 pm on McNabb Street and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that around 3:35 pm yesterday city police received a cal regarding a female causing a disturbance at the Group Health Centre on McNabb Street and when they arrived they learned that she had spat on a security guard that was attempting to deal with her. She is to appear in court on the 2nd of a November.

Shoplifters Arrested:

1) 26 year-old Crystal Anne Wagner of #B-9 Hearst Street was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 on the 28th of September at 2:05 pm at Sears in the Station Mall after she allegedly attended at the store and stole a bottle of perfume. She was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 9th of November.

2) 44 year-old Andrew Swan of no fixed address was arrested on the 28th of September at 5:50 pm at the Sears Store at Station Mall and charged with one count of robbery and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 28th of September at 5:40 pm the accused attended at Sears and stole some tools. Further, when the accused was attempting to flee, he swung his bike and struck a security officer that was attempted to apprehend him just outside the store. At the time of the offence, the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to remain away from Sears. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

3) Two female youths, aged 16 and 17, were arrested yesterday afternoon at 2:45 pm at the Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of theft. It is alleged that the two attended at the store around 1:05 pm and stole several items. They were apprehended by store security and held for police. They are to appear in court on the 3rd of November.

Property Crimes:

Break and Enter Reports:


• A residence was entered on Borron Avenue sometime overnight on the 28th of September. Some clothes, a television and a computer were reported stolen.
• A residence on James Street was entered on the 26th of September. Jewellery, cash and some food were reported stolen.
• An attempt break and enter was reported to a residence on Wellington Street West.
