CRIMINAL HARASSMENT A 50-year-old male will be appearing in bail court this morning after officers from the Investigation Services completed their investigation into a domestic related matter.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
A 50-year-old male will be appearing in bail court this morning after officers from the Investigation Services completed their investigation into a domestic related matter.

It is alleged between the 13th of August and the 19th of August the accused drove by his ex-girlfriend’s house and workplace, both in the Sault, causing her to fear for her safety. The accused had recently been charged by the Ontario Provincial Police for criminal harassment and was on release documents to stay away from the victim.

As a result of these recent complaints, the male was arrested by officers from the City Police yesterday and charged with one count of criminal harassment and 2 counts of breach of a release order. He will be appearing in bail court this morning.


IMPAIRED DRIVER
A London, Ontario male will be appearing in bail court today after being arrested early yesterday morning. Patrol officers observed a car travelling northbound on Great Northern Road being driven in an erratic manner. The officers stopped the vehicle.

The male driver was noted to be impaired and was arrested. The driver gave officers a name that was not his, but the officers were able to properly identify him shortly after taking the male into custody.

21-year-old Jeffery Douglas Dube has been charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of fail to provide a breath sample and one count of personation with intent.


SHOPLIFTING
46-year-old Russell Barton of 292 Albert Street West will appear in court on September 27th after he was arrested yesterday for shoplifting. It is alleged that Mr. Barton stole a baseball cap from the Stitches Store in the Station Mall and was apprehended by a patrol officer who was already in the Mall on another matter. Mr. Barton has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000.


BREAK & ENTERS
Yesterday thieves targeted 2 businesses on Bay Street. Jiffy Car Wash reported a break and enter, however nothing was taken. The Cellar Tap Brew Pub and Grill reported that overnight someone attempted to enter the business but was unsuccessful in gaining entry.
