Arrest Made in Paesano's Break In Yesterday morning, at 5:48 Am City Police responded to an alarm call to Paesano’s Foods at 305 Wellington St.W. Upon arrival the officers discovered that the front door window was broken.

Yesterday morning, at 5:48 Am City Police responded to an alarm call to Paesano’s Foods at 305 Wellington St.W. Upon arrival the officers discovered that the front door window was broken. A search of the premises resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old male. When the youth was searched the officers found coins on the accused that were taken from the business. The accused appeared in court yesterday morning at 10:00 Am.

Perjury

Yesterday afternoon City Police arrested and charged 38-year-old Trevor Tos, of 41 Princess Cr. It is alleged that on November 18th Mr. Tos attended court and while under oath he testified to certain facts that he knew were false. As a result City Police have charged the accused with Perjury. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 Am.

Youth Charged with Breach and Obstruct Justice

On Friday December 15th at approx. 7:50 Am a male was approached by three male youths and assaulted. The victim was further threatened with bodily harm. The victim suffered facial injuries as a result of the assault. The three suspects were subsequently located and arrested.
One of the suspects a 16-year-old youth was charged with: Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Threatening and Possession of a Controlled Substance and attended in Bail Court on December 18th.


The 16-year-old youth involved in the above incident attended in Bail Court on Dec 18th at 10:00 Am and was released on an Undertaking. In the afternoon of the 18th the accused located the victim and again threatened him. As a result Police located and arrested the accused and charged him with: Breach of an Undertaking and Attempting to Obstruct Justice. He will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Assault and Threatening

Last night (Dec 18th) at approx. 10:00 Pm City Police arrested a 52-year-old male and charged him with Assault and Threatening. It is alleged that earlier in the evening the accused, attended an east end address assaulted his girlfriend – by grabbing her by the throat and pulling her by the hair, and then threatened to cause her bodily harm her if she called the police. The victim did not require medical attention as a result of the assault.
The accused appeared in Bail Court on Dec 19th at 10:00 Am and was release on a Recognizance of Bail on the charges of Assault and Threatening.

In the afternoon of Dec 19th at approx. 1:00 Pm the accused breached his recognizance of Bail by:

1. Attending at the address of the victim.
2. Communicating with the victim.
3. By consuming alcohol.

The accused was arrested and charged with three counts of Breach of Recognizance and will be appearing in Bail Court at 10:00 Am today.

Drug Charges Laid

Yesterday afternoon at approx. 3:30 Pm Members of the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a drug warrant at a west end address. The subsequent search of the premises resulted in officers locating 55 grams of marihuana, a digital scale and drug paraphernalia. David Hache, age 21 of 606 Wellington St.W. is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and two counts of Breach of Probation.

City Police are investigating three reported of break and enters.

1) A break-in was reported to a residence in the 100 block of Henrietta Ave. where thieves stole a small amount of cash and some jewellery.

2) A residence in the 100 block of Wemyss St was entered between Dec 15th and 19th and electronic equipment was taken.

3) An attempt was made to enter a garage in the 100 block of Estelle St. Entry was not gained but some damage was reported.

4) Jackie’s Barber Stylist located at 312 Korah Rd. suffered damage when vandals broke the front window.
