Male Arrested Over Domestic Dispute A 46-year-old male was arrested early yesterday morning as a result of a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the male assaulted and threatened his common-law partner after an argument over drugs.

A 46-year-old male was arrested early yesterday morning as a result of a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the male assaulted and threatened his common-law partner after an argument over drugs. The victim did not require medical attention for her injuries. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today.


Male Charged with Breach of a Release Document

At approx. 2:00 PM yesterday Vincent Daigle attempted to enter the United States. Upon being checked by the U.S. CUSTOMS it was learned that there was a warrant for his arrest. City Police were contacted and arrested Mr. Daigle for the warrant. Vincent Daigle, D.O.B.: 19 Feb 1959,age 45, of Goulais River, appearing in court on Jan 24th at 9:00 AM for a breach of a release document.

Male Charged with Criminal Harassment

Yesterday afternoon City Police arrested a 43-year-old male and charged him with two counts of Criminal Harassment. It is alleged that the accused harassed the complainant between Dec. 13th and 20th by watching her place of work and constantly communicating with her. He will be appearing in court on Jan 24 at 9:00 AM.

Male Charged with Assault

A domestic incident last night resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old male. Yesterday evening, at approx. 8:15 PM, City Police were called to an east end residence. While investigating the dispute it was learned that the male person was wanted for an outstanding warrant. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Assault under the warrant. He will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Male Breaches Release Documents

A 22-year-old male was arrested yesterday on a charge of Breaching his Release Documents. It is alleged that the accused sent an e-mail message to a person that he wasn’t allowed to communicate with. City Police subsequently attended his residence arrested the accused. He will be appearing in court on Jan 24th at 9:00 AM.

City Transit reports that a bus shelter located on West St. was damaged yesterday. It appears that the glass was kicked. Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact the City Police.

The R.I.D.E. Program issued two 12 Hour Suspensions yesterday.

Male Charged with Possession Of Stolen Property

Yesterday evening the City Police R.I.D.E. Program had occasion to stop a vehicle being driven by Bradley Maitland. Investigation of the driver led to a charge of Possession of Stolen Property. It is alleged that Mr. Maitland, D.O.B.: 19 Mar 1979, of 286 Second Line W. was in possession of a set of stolen licence plates. He will be appearing in court on Jan 24th at 9:00 AM.

The City Police investigated 16 Motor Vehicle Collisions yesterday. Two of the Collisions resulted in minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
