Male Charged With Assault


A 34yr old male will be appearing in bail court after being arrested in relation to a domestic situation. It is alleged that on the 27th of December at approx. 11:30 pm the accused assaulted the victim by throwing her to the ground and kicking her in the head. The accused also assaulted police by physically grabbing an officer by the sweater and tearing his shirt. The accused also resisted arrest by fighting with the officers. The accused has been charged with 1count of assault, 1 count of assault peace officer and 1 count of resist arrest. He will be appearing in bail court this morning.


Male Charged with Threatening Death

A 21 yr old male will be appearing in bail court this morning after an incident that occurred on the 27th of December. It is alleged that at approx. 7:00pm the accused was involved in a verbal dispute with his common-law wife at which time he threatened to kill their children. The accused has been charged with 1 count of threaten death.


Male Charged With Theft

On the 24th of December it is alleged that 32yr old Clifford Neveau of 39 Albert Street East did steal a 60oz bottle of alcohol from the LCBO store in the station mall. At approx. 12:45 pm the accused was arrested by a store employee who then contacted police. Police attended and the accused was charged with 1 count of theft under $5000 and 1 count of breach of release document. The accused will appear in court on the 24th of January 2005.

Male Charged with Assault

On the 24th of December 21 yr old Evan Makinson of 37 Hughes Street assaulted another male by striking him on the left side of the head with a closed fist. The incident occurred at approx. 4:00 pm at 106 Letcher Street. The accused was charged with 1 count of assault and 1 count breach of release document. He will appear in court on the 31 of January 2005.
