ATTEMPTED BREAK & ENTER Early this morning, at 2:55, city police were called to a bowling alley at 80 Goulais Ave in regards to two males trying to break-in.

Early this morning, at 2:55, city police were called to a bowling alley at 80 Goulais Ave in regards to two males trying to break-in.

A resident of the area had heard some noises and called the police about the two suspicious males. Police arrived and searched the area but were not able to locate the suspects. Signs of an attempted entry were noticed on the door of the business.


OVERNIGHT MISCHIEF
There were two reports of mischief overnight. One incident took place in the 100 block of Champagne Drive where a car was damaged. It is believed that this incident took place between 3:30 and 7:00p.m. If you saw any suspicious persons loitering in the area between those times are asked to call the police.

The second incident took place in the 500 block of Wallace Terr. where a house was paint-balled. The mischief was discovered early this morning.


SHOPLIFTING
Yesterday afternoon a 16 year-old-youth was arrested for Theft Under $ 5,000 after she attempted to steal a pair of boots.

It is alleged that while the accused was at Wal-Mart she put on a pair of boots and left the store without paying for them. The accused was also charged with Breach of Probation and Breach of an Undertaking. She will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 a.m.


CHARGED WITH THREATENING DEATH
An argument between a man and a woman resulted in a 52-year-old male being charged with several offences. The incidents, which occurred over a two-day period, resulted in the suspect being charged with: Threatening – 3 counts, and Unsafe Storage of Firearms.

It is alleged that the suspect made several death threats towards the victim and had several firearms improperly stored. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 a.m.


FEMALE ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
City Police arrested 21-year-old Georgina King yesterday evening and charged her with Assault. The charge stems from an incident where the accused allegedly approached a female, known to her, and punched her in the face several times.

Georgina King, age 21, of 170 Bruce Street will be appearing in Bail Court today. The victim did not require medical attention.
