A 34-year-old woman faces drug trafficking and other charges following a disturbance at a Trunk Road business.
On March 26, police responded to a report of someone causing damage inside a business in the 600 block of Trunk Road around 8:40 p.m.
Police say the woman ran away and resisted arrest before officers gained control and arrested her.
A search of the accused allegedly uncovered about 31 grams of suspected meth, drug packaging materials, and approximately $105 in Canadian currency.
Police estimate the street value of the seized drugs at $3,100.
Nisha Nemeth is charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing a peace officer, mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on May 26.
None of the accusations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
