City Police Beat

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Spring and Bay this morning for a two-vehicle collision. One person was transported from the scene by ambulance.

Accused was allegedly operating a vehicle on Queen Street West when it struck a utility pole near John Street

Ernie was last seen on September 28

He is accused of stealing the vehicle when police responded to a call for service

After being chased off by the homeowner, it is alleged the accused returned the next morning and attempted to get into the residence again

The accused and he was taken into custody on September 28

It is alleged the accused set fire to various pieces of the victim’s property in a bathtub

On September 26, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22-year-old Christian Breathat of Pardee Avenue in regards to a theft.

The accused was apprehended by store security
