A family argument escalated between a woman and teenager. On the 2 August 2014 it is alleged the woman assaulted the 15-year-old girl by punching her in the back several times and slapping her in the face.

Sometime overnight, persons entered an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Weldon Avenue. The vehicle was gone through, nothing is believed to have been taken.

On the 1st August 2014, officers with the Espanola O.P.P. transported a male to Sault Ste. Marie from Manitoulin Island who was wanted on outstanding warrants.

On July 31, 2014 just before 4 a.m. , a homeowner on Greenview Lane was awoken to sound of breaking glass. Once outside he observed two males running from the area and noted the side mirrors and sunroof of his son’s car had been smashed.

On July 29 a male entered a department store on Great Northern Rd. selected electronics and exited the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. The male was apprehended by store security and was turned over to police.

On July 27, 2014 a break in occurred in the 100 block of Fourth Line West. The accused entered the residence and was confronted by the owner. A struggle ensued and the accused broke free and fled the residence.
