City Police Beat

At approximately 5:30am officers were dispatched to the area of London Street and Tancred Street. On attending found the accused walking on Tancred Street with bolt cutters and a bag of copper wire.

Evening Report Arrests/Charged Persons: A 26 year old male was arrested for damaging his ex-girlfriends car.

Evening Report : Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes: City Police attended to a Business break and enter in the Second Line / Farwell Terrace area early this morning.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On July 10, 2012 a male youth, who was an occupant at Pauline’s Place on Queen St East, was charged with breach of probation and mischief after he ripped the telephone out of the wall and threw it across the room.

Arrests/Charged Persons: Evening report One male was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the police station for breath tests. His readings were under the legal limit and he was released unconditionally.

Arrests/Charged Persons: 22 year old Gavin Anderson of NFA was charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On the 6th of July, 2012 City Police arrested an 18 yr old male for domestic assault. The male allegedly grabbed the female victim by the arm then pushed her into a wall.

Evening Report: 41 year old Duane Gugins attended at Sears in the Station Mall where he stole a pair of running shoes and was apprehended by store security.

Evening Report Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes: Theft of a wallet from a vehicle on Caledon Ave. Theft of a Mac Book Computer on Carol Crt. Theft of food products from a commercial truck in the 900 block of Great Northern Rd.
