BEWARE Short change scam! On the 6th of July officers attended at the Rona Hardware Store at the Market Mall located at 275 Second Line West and learned that two persons had been involved in this incident.

Assault A 49-year old female was arrested yesterday last evening and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that the female assaulted her husband by striking him in the face.

Cab Driver Robbed, Suspect Charged Multiple Times Yesterday afternoon at approximately 4:45 pm a cab driver was robbed at knifepoint in the downtown area. The suspect fled the area on foot and the cab driver was not harmed.

Robbery At Brookfield Last evening just after 10:35 pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended at Brookfield Market for a robbery that had just occurred. A lone male suspect entered the store and robbed the clerk at knifepoint.
