Update On Body Found In River Officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Investigation Services Section have completed their investigation into this incident.

Body Recovered From St. Mary's River Just before 11:30 am this morning officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, with the assistance Fire Services and their boat, recovered the body of an adult from the St. Mary’s River.

22 Year Old Male Arrested For Outstanding Warrants A 22-year old male was arrested yesterday afternoon on outstanding warrants in relation to a domestic incident from March of 2005.

Gas Station Robbery At approx. 12:50 AM Saturday April 29th City Police were called to the Esso Gas Bar located at 442 Bruce St. regarding a Robbery. In the incident a lone male entered the store and demanded money from the female attendant.

9-1-1 Call Early this morning just before 6am City Police responded to a 911 call in regards to a domestic situation.

Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Another Cyclist A second motor vehicle collision was reported yesterday evening at approximately 9:00 pm, involving again another cyclist.

CN Rail Safety Demonstration The Sault Ste Marie Police Service will be assisting the CN Police during Railway Safety Week, April 24th – 28th.

Arrested For Making Death Threat Yesterday afternoon City Police arrested a 32-year-old male on charges of: Threatening, Breach of Probation and Breach of an Undertaking.

Arrests Made For Abduction At approx. 11:20 AM yesterday morning City Police were called to attend at 19 Hussey St. in regards to a possible abduction. Upon arrival of the police officers they found a marihuana grow operation in the residence.

More Charges Laid Against Ouimet On the 20th of April, the accused was arrested and charged with two counts of murder in connection to the murder of 40-year old Melody Burtis and her 8-year old son Harley Baxter-Burtis.
