Male Charged with Failure to Yield City police would like to remind motorists to adjust their driving habits according to weather conditions. Yesterday 11 motor vehicle collisions were reported to police. One accident resulted in minor injuries.

Male Charged With Assault A 34yr old male will be appearing in bail court after being arrested in relation to a domestic situation. It is alleged that on the 27th of December at approx.

A member of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service had his shirt ripped and glasses bent when he responded to a domestic dispute last night. Police were called to the 900 block of Peoples Road around 11:30 p.m.

City Police were kept hopping overnight with a variety of false alarms and other calls. But the local thugs and ne'er-do-wells appear to have been all nestled snug in their beds, while visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.

Robbery Call At approx. 8:45 PM last night City Police were dispatched a Robbery call in the area of the Calvary Christian Centre on East St. At this location a taxi driver informed the arriving officers that he had just been robbed by his fare. .

Male Charged with Fraud At approx. 11:50 AM yesterday morning the City Police Fraud Unit arrested Todd Petrie and charged him with 4 counts of Fraud, 2 counts of Uttering Forged Documents, 1 count of Forgery and 1 count of Breach of Probation.

Male Arrested Over Domestic Dispute A 46-year-old male was arrested early yesterday morning as a result of a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the male assaulted and threatened his common-law partner after an argument over drugs.

It appears that the snowy weather kept most people off the roads yesterday as the City Police had a relatively quiet night.

Male Charged With Assault On Sunday Dec. 19th at approx. 9:10 PM City Police arrested a 31-year-old male and charged him with Assault, Threatening X2, and Breaching a Probation Order X4.

A man has been accused by police of driving his pickup truck intentionally into his ex-girlfriend's car early this morning on Illinois Avenue. The car, which was in a driveway at the time, suffered damages estimated in the $5,000 range.
