12-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT Officers arrested a 12-year-old last evening in connection with an incident in his home. He and his 16-year-old sister had been arguing prior to the alleged assault.

The Sault Police Services responded to 24 motor vehicle collisions yesterday. Most involved drivers losing control of their vehicles due to the arrival of winter conditions. Fortunately there were no serious injuries.

TWO ARRESTED FOR AUGUST THEFT Detectives arrested 22-year-old Brendan Gosse of 524 Goulais Avenue and a 16-year-old female last evening in connection with an incident from August of this year.

BREAK AND ENTERS Officers arrested 18-year-old Robert MacLary of 1652 Herkimer Street in the early hours of Saturday morning in connection with a break and enter to a Victoria Street Residence.

SEVEN ARRESTED LAST NIGHT City police report a fairly busy night last night with seven people arrested. The RIDE program picked up two impaired drivers. There was one minor assault and several arrested for various liquor charges.

SUSPICIOUS MALE APPROACHES YOUNG GIRLS The Sault Police Service has received reports of two incidents in the west end of the city where a suspicious male has approached young females.

GAS LEAK DOWNTOWN City Fire and Police were called out to a gas leak at 9:10 last evening in the area of 626 Queen Street East. Emergency crews evacuated people From businesses and apartments on the north side of Queen between East and Brock Streets.

TWO-CAR ACCIDENT SENDS BOTH DRIVERS TO HOSPITAL Officers investigated a two-car accident yesterday at the intersection of Trunk Road and Adelaide that resulted in both drivers going to hospital by ambulance where they were treated for minor injuries.

TWO CHARGED WITH ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM Detectives arrested a 25-year-old male yesterday afternoon and have charged him with assault causing bodily harm.
