SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Peter

(TAAG)

Peter was rescued in very rough shape in March after having battled the elements outdoors. He is a Maine Coon mix who is very friendly and affectionate and has proven to be quite a gentle fellow who loves belly rubs.

Peter had his Wellness checkup, tests, has had shots up to date, and has been neutered.

He also went for courtesy grooming at the beginning of April (to eliminate the matting) and got a lion cut.

If you would like to meet or adopt Peter, or any of the available cats or kittens, please contact us.

Visit us at The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) Website, where you will find information on shelter location, hours of operation, ways to help, and adoption information.

The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity located at 189 Elgin Street, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, offering rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.

While these animals are in our care, medical attention, spay / neuter services and lots of love are provided until homes are found. Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.
