SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
Mazi, Razzmatazz, Taz
Update: Taz and Mazi have been adopted. Razzmatazz is still available for adoption
(TAAG)
MAZI is a declawed female Brown Tabby whose adoption fee will be waived to the right home.
She gets along with dogs and kids but should be the only cat in a fairly quiet environment. Adult cats like Mazi (around 8 years old) can be affectionate and quiet companions.
There are advantages to adopting a cat who is past the kitten stage.
You won’t get any personality surprises as “What You See is What You Get”, making it easier to find the right fit for your family.
Most older adult cats are very content to just curl up on a comfy lap or pillow purring.
Sadly, mature adult cats have a longer wait for a home as people don’t often realize that cats can live 15+ years, especially indoor cats like Mazi.
RAZZMATAZZ is a younger adult male Brown Tabby who has been with TAAG for 6 months, since February, when he was brought in from the very cold outdoor elements.
After he recuperated and overcame initial shyness, Razzmatazz proved to be an affectionate fellow.
He has lovely green eyes and likes his belly rubbed.
Razzmatazz will make a very loving companion.
He has watched his feline friends leave the shelter over the past months while he waits for his special family.
TAZ is a Brown Tabby who is around 8 years old.
Taz loves everyone, including the other cats at the shelter, and loves to have his ears scratched.
Taz has a beautiful coat which is very soft and has a distinct swirl pattern.
Taz is waiting for someone to take him home.
The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) is a non-profit registered charity that offers rescue foster and ultimately permanent adoption of homeless, unwanted, or neglected pets.
While these animals are in our care we provide medical attention, spay / neuter services and lots of love until they are placed in a permanent home.
Cats coming into our care (except young kittens or otherwise stated) have been spayed, neutered, given shots, and have been FELV tested.
Homeless cats stay with TAAG until adopted.
If you would like to adopt any of the available cats or kittens, please contact us.
