Think you know a lot about the history of Sault Ste. Marie? What about sports, music, art, Canadian history in general?
The Sault Ste. Marie Museum, in partnership with Outspoken Brewing, is hosting two trivia night fundraisers this month – one on Aug. 11 and the other on Aug. 25, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This is a chance to show off your trivia knowledge, enjoy some time with family and friends, and win some prizes valued at over $100 each night.
The event will be hosted at Outspoken Brewing on Queen Street.
“The fundraiser is going towards our education and outreach department, so this will allow us to continue to offer different programming and opportunities for the community to engage with the museum. Hopefully, we can host more events and do more fun things like this in the future,” said Will Hollingshead, executive director and chief curator at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum.
“It’s the first trivia night we’ve done but we are pretty excited about it. Our staff has been working hard developing some awesome questions and we’re going to have some sponsorship from a lot of downtown businesses,” Hollingshead said. “We’re excited to have an event that will be in person again.”
Registration for the event is $30 per team of four, with a maximum of nine teams being able to play.
“We’d like to give a shout out to Outspoken for partnering with us and allowing us to host this event at their location. We’re really excited to work with them,” Hollingshead said.
