A Poem for Nonna
There was a magic in a Nonna’s touch,
And sunshine in her smile.
There was love in everything she did
To make our lives worthwhile.
We found hope and courage
Just by looking in her eyes.
Her laugher was a source of joy,
Her words were warm and wise.
There was kindness and compassion
To be found in her embrace,
And now from the light of heaven
We see Nonna’s beautiful face.
