SooToday received the following letter from reader Paul Reid who had a recent positive experience while traveling out of the Sault airport recently.
There has been a lot of bad press about airlines this past while so I thought some good news would be welcome.
On the way to the Sault Ste Marie airport for a 5:30 a.m. flight this past Friday my wife realized she did not have her glasses and it would certainly make traveling difficult.
After checking in I noticed we still had forty minutes before take off so I asked the Air Canada agent if I were to go and get her glasses and return if they could get the glasses to her if I got back before takeoff. The agent said they could try.
Well, I arrived at the departure entrance at 5:22 a.m. to an awaiting ticket agent that was outside watching for me and I passed the glasses to her.
They were able to get them on board to my wife somehow. It all went so fast I did not ask for the agents name but a great big thanks to her for going over and above to help us out.
