Adult learning non-profit seeks volunteer board member

Are you passionate about creating positive change in the community?

Superior Adult Learning (formerly “Program Read”) says it is seeking a volunteer to serve on its board of directors.

"Our free services help adult learners learn and use communication, numeracy, interpersonal, digital and life skills to increase their independence and successfully pursue employment, independence and education goals," the organization said in a release.

Superior Adult Learning is a non-profit organization, governed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by paid staff and volunteer tutors. The board currently meets five times per year, including at their annual general meeting.

"This is an exciting time to join our team!" the organization said.
